The Raspberry Pi Imager is simply a tool for getting your chosen 3rd-party Operating System installed onto mass storage so that it can be used to boot up your RPi board.I'll keep poking around, figured this would just work since I used the pi imager.
It doesn't provide any warranty that the OS you have chosen is reliable or supported.
