That is the problem. How do you configure the internal DHCP server started by NM?NetworkManager starts a DHCP server and DNS forwarder.
There are notes about configuring the NM DNS forwarder or at least the list of DNS servers it forwards to. The NM /etc/ directory includes subdirectories fo DNSmasq but no information on how that is used.
This controls the address used by the hotspot device, not the computers connected to the hotspot. An address of 192.168.0.1 is translated by NetworkManager into an unknown range. Last time I tested NM, NM provided 192.168.0.109 as some sort of random address for the first connected computer.specify an IP address and subnet mask in "ipv4.addresses"
