General discussion • Is this architecture possible ?

Hello to all,

Thanks to the PI team for this work and more for caring the idea of computing for everybody.

I work in telecom's on the layer 2 and 3, and do not know a lot on hardware.

I'm posting on this forum to know if it is possible to create a Raspberry Pi with only :

- 1 main board with Direct Memory Access and no memory virtualisation.
- 1 CPU ARM + IP in the CPU. (ASIC AES-256 CBC random IV on the data memory bus. The AES key is a fixed key, input on start-up)
- 1 RAM (All data encrypted in exception for the I/O, the AES ASIC dos not encrypt the addresses of the I/O)
- 1 Flash memory
- 1 SATA
- 1 Network
- 1 I/O (Mouse, keyboard, video)

And no other connector or device on board.

Is this possible to do ?
The idea is to have a board with a lit system that can encrypt all the data and no other way for the data to be decrypted without the AES key that it's given to the AES ASIC on the first start-up, protected with a password to set the key.

Also if I download from the system the data will be encrypted so we need to decrypt the data.

Hop that my question is clear and not crazy, and thank you for your time.
