I am using PINN to try to dual boot Ubuntu with retropie. I am trying to make a headless retropie so I can download games on Ubuntu and just transfer them over a partial disk partition. When I boot into Retropie, my pi just shows a black screen with write writing. Upon farther research, I found out it is called the diagnostics screen. There is a QR code on the top right that upon scanning directs me to the pi imager site. The bottom of the diagnostics page says my board requires newer software, but I literally updated my bootloader 10 minutes before I began the retropi boot. The PINN menu works great and it connects to Wi-Fi, I think the image of retropie might be broken though. Help would be greatly appreciated.
