I hope you took a backup before attempting the upgrade.

In place upgrades have never been recommended or supported.

Bookworm introduced some major changes to networking compared to earlier releases so I'm not at all surprised it's now broken.

Your simplest fix is:

1. Restore from backup.
2. Install Bookworm to a fresh boot media
3. Do the first boot stuff
4. Install any additional packages.
5. Copy data and settings from the od boot media.

If you didn't take a backup, start at step 2.
