Regarding the QFN 80, as I'm porting a board I made for the RP2040, the QFN60 was still pretty close to re-route. I have to limit myself sometimes or I'll get carried away tweaking stuff forever! (I'd be wondering what I could do with the extra pins)

I found putting the SMPS inductor and caps in pushed other stuff aside a little too much for my liking. The QFN80 just seems to have a nicer pinout arrangement, and you can route a track out at each corner.
