The behavior is the normal one. The Dual Throw Foot switch is a latching one, when button is pressed it makes "click" and closes the circuit permanently till you press again to unlock. Is the same that pressing continuously a key in the keyboard without quitting the finger.
The question would be if could be possible to manage some kind of setting of dtoverlay or using pinctrl in order to trigger the key when circuit changes from ON to OFF or viceversa. A kind of edge detection.
The hardware way would be to buy Single Throw Foot Switches, but I wanted to know if is possible with this switches I bought because are robust and I want to use them in order to control an instance of SooperLooper.
