MOTORA ---> stepper coil (red and yellow stepper wires)
MOTORB ---> stepper coil (green and grey stepper wires)
About the color of the wires. Are you sure that coils A or B correspond to the correct one.

If you check with a multimeter what is the resistance between red and yellow? Between green and grey?

If they are the same coil you should be able to have a low value. If you read "0.L" then they aren't the same coil.

Maybe a picture of your setup and the part number of the stepper would be handy.

And like Gavinmc42 said try a delay of 0.1 instead if the coils wire color are ok.
The wiring should be fine because I checked the resistance and it is around 5 ohm between red-yellow and green-grey.

This is an image of the setup showing the Raspberry Pi, a damaged module, the 12V power supply and the wiring going to the motor. I also updated the original post with a diagram.
