Hello,

Sorry for not replying for so long. I was expecting to get email notifications, but that's not setup automatically.

I tried powering the raspberry with more power via USB 15W, but that didn't give enough for the printer II assume. Still is not listed.

So you are saying that I should power the USB of the printer with it's own USB power hub and pipe the signal basically through that external power hub.
Make sure that you get a hub that doesn't back feed the PI as there have been some issues reported with that.
Do you have examples of cheap HUBs that would work?
Can you list the last 20 or so lines of the "dmesg" command, just after connecting the printer? That should show if it is even being detected.
