Of course, if you only use the lite images you'll never see it.
Could be. After an 'update, 'full-upgrade', 'reboot', just a few seconds ago I am seeing -uname -a maybe?
will give you 6.6.59 for todays - 11/06/24 - latest and greatest kernel.
