You can have all that. Just design and build your own carrier board. That's kind of the point of the CM line....nice thing, but i would have added an option: on the case , on the left, having an opening that could fit a D37 or two D9 D connectors, to take in/out some signal to the GPIO or to an hat connected directly on the GPIO. Also the option to power by a stabilized 5V supply with a more rugged connector than the C one .
