After the mini-computer i got anso a mini-keyboard of the same size and ... a 3,5" monitor that uses an HDMI connection, so keep the GPIO available.
The problem of that monitor is that is really cheap [less than 15€] that in itself is not a defect, even if audio performances are quite poor, but that the panel is 320x200, that for that size is the nresolution of the 1920×1080 on a 23".
Where is the promen so ? that to improve compatiobility that screen declares to be compatible wit 288p 720p and 1080p .
So when conencted the Pi see that is 1080 capable and outputs small characters, not legible once scaled down.
I tried to put in /boot/firmware/config.txt the lines to set hdmi in mode 9 but no success, not even with mode 18 .
Always small characters and the monitor recognized as 1080p mode.
Under X was possible to set at 640x480 and characters double size, so it would work , but since the purpose is to use that display to let scroll some diagnostics and notification, it must work also on the text windows [that even is i set 640x480 on X remain 1080p]
How to do ?
