This is most unfortunate. I really hope that whatever illness has delayed this is nothing serious and that the person recovers quickly.

Frankly, James, I'd rather see you suggest a timeline people can expect and then have to retract it for unexpected reasons than just stonewall with no data. Everyone can understand that stuff happens, and cope with it if we're kept in the loop. Transparency is always more confidence inspiring than opacity.
Yes, I'm disappointed to see we won't see the PoE hat in the few days remaining this year. However, I'm more disappointed to see that instead of a revised timeline, we're getting "oops, yeah, we shouldn't have told you anything.". That's a step in the wrong direction as far as I'm concerned.
